Day 1 Srinagar
Welcome to Srinagar: Welcome aboard the Kashmir Valley Tour. You will be greeted and picked up by
our executive at the airport or railway station exit and transferred to your hotel in a private car. A welcome
briefing will cover the tour details, and you will receive your India travel kit containing all essential
documents (air/rail tickets, hotel vouchers, transport info, guide, sightseeing vouchers, and travel
essentials). On arrival, you will be transferred to your houseboat. The afternoon is free for personal
activities. Enjoy a sunset Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 2 Srinagar
Local Sightseeing: Enjoy a guided city tour visiting the world-famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat
Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). Return to the houseboat for lunch. In the
evening, experience another peaceful Shikara ride to admire Srinagar’s unique beauty, often compared to
Venice. Overnight on the houseboat.
Day 3 Srinagar to Gulmarg (60 km)
Summer Resort in the Valley: After breakfast, travel to Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful summer
resorts in the Kashmir Valley. Known for having the world’s highest golf course in summer and skiing in
winter, Gulmarg offers breathtaking natural splendor. Optional Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to
Khalinmarg and back. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 Gulmarg to Pahalgam (150 km)
Valley of Kashmir: After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (2,440 meters). En route, visit the saffron fields and the ancient Avantipur ruins, an 1100-year-old temple. Arrive at Pahalgam, famous for its use as a filming
location in Indian cinema. After lunch, enjoy the natural charm of the valley. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 Pahalgam
Enjoy a full day exploring the pristine beauty of the Pahalgam valley. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 Pahalgam to Srinagar (100 km)
Back to Srinagar: After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar. Arrive by afternoon. Overnight at houseboat or
hotel.
Day 7 – Srinagar > Gulmarg > Srinagar (200 km)
Gateway to Ladakh: Enjoy a full-day excursion to Gulmarg with scenic stops en route. Continue to
Sonmarg (2,690 meters). Experience a horse ride to Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains year-round.
Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight at houseboat or hotel.
Day 8 Srinagar
The Way Back: Transfer to Srinagar airport to board your onward flight, concluding your ‘Best of Kashmir
Tour.’
