Day 1 – Dalhousie

Ancient Temples & Colonial Relics
Arrive at Pathankot after an overnight train journey from Delhi and drive to Dalhousie. After check-in, proceed for an excursion to Khajjiar and Chamba. Explore ancient Hindu temples like the Laxmi Narayan and Chamunda temples, as well as St. Andrew's Church—a colonial-era gem over 100 years old. Experience the untouched natural beauty of these scenic hill towns.

Day 2 – Dalhousie > McLeodganj (150 km / 4 hrs)

The Little Lhasa
Begin your day visiting four heritage churches in Dalhousie, reminiscent of the British colonial era. Later, drive to McLeodganj, the seat of Tibetan culture and home to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Visit St. John in the Wilderness Church and the serene Bhagsunag Temple nestled in the hills.

Day 3 – McLeodganj

Simple Living, High Thinking
Take an early morning drive to Chinmaya Tapovan, located by the banks of Bindu Saras. The ashram complex includes a towering 9-meter Hanuman statue, a Ram temple, meditation hall, school, and wellness center. Return to McLeodganj to visit its Tibetan monasteries. Spend the evening at leisure soaking in the spiritual vibe of the town.

Day 4 – McLeodganj > Palampur (45 km / 1.5 hrs)

Faith on Flames
Embark on an excursion to two revered Shaktipeeths—Jwalaji (home to nine eternal flames representing the goddess’s tongue) and Bajreshwari Devi (where the goddess’s left breast is believed to have fallen). Later, continue to Palampur, a quaint British-era hill station known for its tea estates and monasteries. Visit the peaceful Tashijong Monastery before settling in for the night.

Day 5 – Palampur > Manali (200 km / 5 hrs)

Valley of Gods
Drive northeast alongside the scenic Beas River to reach Manali. En route, stop at the ancient Baijnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva—believed to house the same lingam once gifted to Ravana. In Manali, visit the revered temples of Sage Manu, Vashisht, and Hadimba Devi (the powerful Pandava queen from the Mahabharata).

Day 6 – Manali > Kullu (40 km / 1.5 hrs) > Delhi

The Culmination of the Holy Trail
Drive to Kullu in the early morning for your return flight to Delhi. If time permits, visit the Raghunathji Temple, from where the famed Kullu Dussehra festivities commence.
