Day 1 – Kochi

Welcome to Incredible India: Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and picked up by our executive holding a placard with your name at the airport customs exit. You will be transferred to your hotel in a private car. A welcome briefing will cover various tour aspects to ensure you enjoy the best of your Indian holiday. You will receive your India travel kit containing all essential trip documents (air/rail tickets, hotel vouchers, transport details, guide contacts, sightseeing vouchers, writing pads, and more).

Note: Standard hotel check-in/check-out is 1200 hours. If your arrival time differs, activities or pre-booked hotel stays can be arranged on request. Typically, it takes over one hour to clear customs and exit the airport.

Day 2 – Kochi > Munnar (130 km / 4 hrs)

Munnar – Breathtakingly Beautiful: Drive east to Munnar, described by National Geographic Traveler as “one of the fifty must-see destinations of a lifetime and one of the ten paradises of the world.” Munnar is famed for its vast, velvety green tea plantations, making it one of the most romantic landscapes worldwide.

After check-in and lunch, visit Eravikulam National Park, renowned for its endangered Nilgiri Tahr population.

Day 3 – Munnar

Verdant Carpet of Manicured Gardens: After breakfast, explore wildlife along Rajamala-Udumalpet road (SH 17) passing through Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, home to deer, leopards, elephants, and the rare grizzled giant squirrel. With luck, spot the legendary white bison.

Day 4 – Munnar > Periyar (110 km / 3.5 hrs)

Spice Town: Drive south to Periyar, declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978 under Project Tiger. Established by the Travancore State Government in 1934, the sanctuary features a 26 sq. km artificial lake built by the British in 1895 to supply water to Madurai city in Tamil Nadu. Overnight stay in Periyar.

Day 5 – Periyar

A Fascinating Wildlife Sanctuary: Choose from jungle activities arranged by the forest department: bamboo rafting (full day), guided treks, elephant rides, or even camping inside the reserve.

Day 6 – Periyar > Kumarakom (128 km / 4 hrs)

Haven of Birds: Early morning boat safari in Periyar Tiger Reserve followed optionally by an elephant ride and bathing experience.

After lunch, drive west to Kumarakom—a cluster of small islands on Vembanad Lake. The 14-acre bird sanctuary is home to migratory birds such as Siberian stork, egrets, darters, herons, teal, waterfowl, cuckoo, and wild duck. Explore the sanctuary on foot or take a boat trip around the islands, best in early morning or evening for bird spotting. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Day 7 – Kumarakom > Kochi (76 km / 1.5 hrs)

Commercial Capital of Kerala: Morning visit to the bird sanctuary. Post breakfast, drive to Kochi — Kerala’s cosmopolitan and modern city comprising Ernakulum and islands on Lake Vembanad. Influenced by Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese, and British colonizers.

Sightseeing includes Mattancherry Palace, Pardesi Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, and Chinese fishing nets. Evening Kathakali dance performance. Overnight at Kochi.

Day 8 – Kochi > Wayanad (300 km / 6-7 hrs)

An Idyllic Hill Town: Drive north to Wayanad, famed for its beautiful landscapes. About 26% forest cover makes it Kerala’s greenest district, home to two major wildlife reserves. Rolling hills, deciduous rainforests, lakes, and waterfalls enhance its scenic appeal.

Day 9 – Wayanad

Enchantingly Green: Safari in Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, consisting of Muthanga and Tholpetty zones. Expect to spot elephants, bisons, sambar, spotted deer, peacocks, langurs, and monkeys. Visits require a guide.

Optional visit to Eddakal Caves featuring Neolithic carvings after a 1 km uphill trek. Overnight at Wayanad.

Day 10 – Wayanad > Kozhikode (130 km / 3.5 hrs)

The Way Back: Leisure time until transfer to Kozhikode airport for your onward flight. Depart with cherished memories of Kerala’s wild side.
